GENERAL OPENING TIMES :

Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

SURGERY TIMES

MORNING SURGERIES :

Between 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. - There are also special early morning surgeries which are reserved for people who work and have difficulty making other appointment times.

AFTERNOON AND EVENING SURGERIES :

Between 3:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

There are also specific early afternoon surgeries which start at 2:00 p.m. These surgeries are by appointment only.

SATURDAY MORNING SURGERY :

Run by a single Doctor only, between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. This surgery is by appointment only bookable in advance for non urgent problems only. Please phone to arrange an appointment.

LATE AND EARLY SURGERIES

Every week there is a late Surgery until 8:00 pm, this alternates between Tuesdays and Wednesdays. There is also an early morning surgery on Tuesdays from 7:00am to 8:30am. These all need to be booked in advance and are intended for those who work and find it difficult to attend during the day.

APPOINTMENTS

These are made with our receptionists by telephone or in person. The reception desk is continuously staffed while the health centre is open. There are some appointments reserved every day for people with urgent problems. We also offer a new online booking system for some appointments - please ask at reception for details on how to register for this service.

	HOME VISITS If you are too ill to get to the surgery the doctor will visit you at home. This service is not intended for people with transport problems. It is your responsibility to get to the surgery if you are fit enough to travel. Please help us by phoning before 10:00 a.m. to request a visit.

	BRANCH SURGERIES These are held in the village halls. There are no facilities for anything more than simple consultations. It will help if you are able to let us know if you wish to attend one of theses surgeries as the Doctor can then bring your notes with them.No appointments are necessary but please be there at the time stated, as the Doctor will not wait. 		OUT OF HOURS If you need care for a medical emergency *outside normal surgery hours*, call the Upwell Health Centre telephone number and you will be connected directly to the Out Of Hours Service.
